Mr. William Yocum, a retired equipment operator and lineman, came to Ruston Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for therapy to regain his strength and independence after a hospitalization.  He received physical therapy to increase his strength, balance, and endurance, and occupational therapy to become independent in his self-care tasks such as toileting, dressing, and bathing.  After completing therapy, Mr. Yocum returned home, where he enjoys sitting on his front porch. “What I’m going to miss the most is the people here are so sweet.  Everybody is really nice and they helped me a lot”.
