Mr. Marlon Jenkins came to Ruston Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for therapy after being hospitalized.  He was unable to walk or perform self-care tasks such as dressing, bathing, and toileting without assistance.  “When I first came here I was depressed.  I felt like I had lost my spark for life.  However, the therapists encouraged me and helped me to work hard.  I realized you have to work through the strain to get the gain.  Everybody was so nice here.”  Mr. Jenkins has returned to the community, having regained all his independence.
